IE browser with HTTPS: The page cannot be displayed
Problem: If you are working with ebsuite application using IE version 5.5 or above, when viewing the pages via HTTPS, the browser sometimes displays the following msg: "The page cannot be displayed".

Reason:
This is a known IE bug. You can see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article for more details:

The problem only happens when you use HTTPS with IE. In the Knowledge Base article, windows 2000 service pack 4 was mentioned to have fixed this issue. You can also try to use a non-IE browser like the excellent Mozilla Firebird if you want to use HTTPS.
