Quickly assign opportunity to someone else

When I first create a new opportunity, I would like to be able to assign it to a different salesperson in the first screen like the way you can link this opportunity to a contact or an organization.
This already works fine on the 'new case' tab.

this has been also done by the dev team. One of my customer is using this function every day.
